Presentation

For my presentation we choose to use powerpoint slides, so as to aid us and to let the viewer see if they have no idea what we're talking about.

We were very nervous when it's our turn to present. :/ But we'll all try to be more firm next time.

As the presentation goes, I saw a lot of groups do different kind of things to represents their identity. It is rather interesting as everyone got their own unique topic for IDENTITY. After the presentation, I've learn a lot of things and I hope I can do better or well for future assignment. :)

Last but not least, it's the end of the module. 03-08-2011 is the date and it's memorable to me, :)

I would like to THANK all the lecturers for teaching and guiding us along the way as we grow day by day, be it assignment or exercise. I really appreciate it and without them, we were nothing but just a empty nut shell. :D

Currently : still looking for shops that print T-shirt that meets our requirement. Because not all shops print good quality and materials.

Done with character design.

Intend to print on Hoodie [ to show shyness because it's like covering up myself :) ]

Color to choose : Have to see what colors are available at the printing shop.

And what best represents me.

This shall be the final product outcome. ---^

Further research on Identity

After many discussion with my group mates, we've came out an idea of making First impression for identity.

-First impression makes a foundation.

When we first saw someone, we will definitely look at the person first therefore it is the first impression we recognize as their identity.

I've experienced that before I became friends with my friend, the first impression of her is she's a quiet person. But after knowing her for a period of time, she became more like a different person.

She became more and more proud and we didn't get to chat a lot about our activities, the thing that she concern and talk to us about, is just grades and money. I was surprise and disappointed as well.

So for our Final product on first impression is designing a T-shirt.

We will all be designing our very own character to represent ourselves because we have our very own style on creating the character as well as to show our very own personalities.

Steps to do :

- We will do a survey on 'what's the first impression of me' for our group and based on the results, we will create the character for the front T-shirt ( Before )

- We will also do a survey of "whats the impression after knowing me" for our group as well and based on the results, we will then create the character for the back T-shirt ( After )

- We will choose our own color for the T-shirt to represent ourselves.

Add ons : we're also thinking of adding accessories to show more of ourselves like the style (Gothic, Boyish etc.) we like and also our characteristic.

Identity 1st research.

Identity makes an entity definable and recognizable.

Culture, Nationality, Gender, Thumbprints, Barcode etc. can be part of the identity as well.

Corporate Identity (a way of branding or use of trademark)

Example like Name cards, logo etc.

Personal Identity

what makes you unique as an individual and different from others.

(someone might look like you, but not exactly the same as you.)

You can also have different identity to represent yourself.

Example like MSN/Facebook, Online games etc. You can have more than 1 identity at the same time. Different people recognize you as different person, depending on where did they know you from.

Without Identity, who are we? We're nobody! Because nobody knows who we are! We're like invisible to people. >< THAT'S SAD, isn't it? Haha.
